Project HSC200M - a
preliminary design of
a high-speed sea passenger
double-deck catamaran.
The hull has well-proven seaworthy
lines and a design tested on
Norwegian
OMA-Cat. It can
be with hydrofoils (with dynamic
unloading by hydrofoils) and without
them.
For passengers, the following are
provided: a large saloon with soft
chairs on the main deck, conditions
for transporting disabled people, a
luggage compartment, a VIP saloon on
the superstructure deck, a promenade
deck under a canopy. Crew quarters -
3 cabins, a wardroom with a dining
area.

A catamaran with a hydrofoil system located within the
dimensions of the vessel, compared to a planing vessel with the
same speed, consumes 40% less fuel and carries 8% more payload.
Compared to a traditional hydrofoil with stationary hydrofoils,
such a vessel can be operated at shallower depths, is less
dependent on overload, has a lower cost, freedom in the choice
of propulsion, a relative simplicity of the design of the
hydrofoil system, and the situation of failure to reach the wing
is excluded.
